Special Note: These first videos below, from November, come to us from our friend Dave Allgire, who flew to Phoenix from Savannah when the babies were just a week old. They are the only video footage of the babies during their entire first two months. Because Dave came and took these, we have some video footage of Emily before she passed away, which is very very special to us. And because Emily was doing so well at that time, and actually peaked during the days that Dave was with us, she had just gotten off of her ventilator and onto the CPAP. If Dave had come either a couple of days earlier or a couple of days later, Emily would have been on the ventilator, and the video footage would not have been nearly as good. Most importantly, those two days were the only days in which Emily’s voice was ever heard. And so through Dave’s great video work, and the grace of God, we are still able today to see and remember Emily in her very best state, and even to hear her little voice!
